The Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Panagia of Metzena) is located in the banks of Panachaiko mountain, in Kato Platanovrisi (old name: Metzaina). It was built in 1400 and is consider a rare Byzantine archeological monument and its unique architecture mesmerizes the visitors. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
