The Dam of Piros-Papiros consists of two separate dams, the small Valmatura Dam and the extensive earthen dam Asteriou with a homonymous artificial lake, and it is considered one of the biggest infrastructure projects Achaia, since it provides the municipality of Patras, the municipality of Erymanthos and the one of Western Achaia with water. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
