The Holy Monastery of Panagia Gorgoepikou is located just outside the city of Nafpaktos, in the area of ​​Dendro Nafpaktia. It was founded in 1951 by Archimandrite Arsenios Koubougia and still performs important social and religious work. It has a beautiful courtyard area, which consists of manicured flower beds with plants and flowers, as well as the cells of the 12 monks who live in the Monastery.
