The chapel of Prophet Ilias is located at a distance of about 1.7 kilometers from the center of the village of Mataraga, Etoloakarnania. It is an impressive and stone-built church of rectangular shape, which is built on a verdant hill, which offers a unique view of the green landscape and the Trichonida lake that rises in front of it.
