The Central Square of Starochori is a landmark of the settlement and ideally complements the landscape with its traditional buildings. On the square, there is a monument in honor of those who died in the wars, but also the monument of Sergeant Christos A. Gavou, who heroically fell fighting in Cyprus on August 16, 1974.
