Platanias Paravolas is a lowland village located in the Peripheral Unit of Aitoloakarnania. It is built on the northern shores of Lake Trichonida, at an altitude of 50 meters and is about 13 kilometers east of the city of Agrinio. According to the 2011 census it consists of 157 inhabitants.
