Agia Varvara Panaitolikou is a mountain village in the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and the seat of a homonymous local community that belongs to the Municipality of Agrinio. It is located at the western foot of Mount Panaitolikos and on the north side of Lake Trichonis, while it is about 20 kilometers from the city of Agrinio. Until 1954 it was called Lykochori and according to the 2011 census the population amounts to 146 inhabitants. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
