Megali Chora is a lowland village located in the Peripheral Unit of Aitoloakarnania. It is built southeast of the artificial lake Stratos at an altitude of 60 meters, borders the settlement Triantaika and is about 6 km northwest of Agrinio. The old name of the settlement was Zapanti and according to the 2011 census the population amounts to 1,408 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Rural.
