Gavalou is a lowland village in the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania. It is located north of Mount Arakynthos and south of Lake Trichonida at an altitude of 70 meters, bordering the settlements of Agios Andreas and Grammatikou, while it is about 23 kilometers southeast of Agrinio. According to the 2011 census, the population is 1,018 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
