Panaitolio is a lowland town located in the Peripheral Unit of Aitoloakarnania. It is built on the western shores of Lake Trichonida at an altitude of 67 meters, borders the town of Nea Avorani and the settlement of Kainourgio, while it is about 7 kilometers southeast of the city of Agrinio. Its old name was Mustafouli and according to the 2011 census the population amounts to 2,935 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
