The Holy Temple dedicated to Agios Ioannis Prodromos dominates the center of the village of Dafnia. It is a large stone church of rectangular shape, which is located right next to the Cemetery. It has a stone bell tower that rises next to the main entrance, as well as a spacious courtyard. Every year, on the 29th of August, a solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated and a large number of believers gather in the Holy Temple in order to worship the icon of Agios Ioannis Prodromos.
