The Church of Agios Dimitrios dominates the center of the village Kainourgio. It is an impressive and elaborate church, basilica style with a dome, which has a spacious paved courtyard with tall trees and wooden benches. On either side of the imposing church stand two smaller churches and on the right side of the main entrance rises the huge bell tower. This point of interest is Plain and Rural.
