The Holy Church of Panagia Vlaherna dominates the town of Lepenos. It is built on the spot where the icon of the Virgin Mary of Vlacherna was found in 1903. It is a white chapel, which is internally decorated with hagiographies and small gilded chandeliers. Externally, it has a beautiful, paved courtyard with numerous trees, in which stands a stone bell tower, decorated with a white cross at the top. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
