The Akropotamos Tower is located on the eastern side of the artificial lake of Kastraki, near the village of Avlakies in Aitoloakarnania. It is the ruins of an ancient tower, which was probably built in 370-189 BC, during the years of the Aetolian League. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Visitable hours: Free Access.
