The Museum of the History of Education of Aitoloakarnania is located in the centre of the village of Angelokastro. It was created and operates under the supervision of the Directorate of Primary Education of Aitoloakarnania, while it is housed in the old primary school, which was built in 1930 and remodeled to accommodate the educational exhibits. Inside the museum there is an exhibition on the school, presenting the educational historical material, the conditions of the educational process, the teaching methods, the organization and the ways in which lessons were conducted in the past.
