The Holy Church of Agios Georgios is located on the northern side of the village of Angelokastro. It is a stone-built church, which dominates the centre of a ruined fortress, on the hill of Angelokastro and dates back to the mid-13th century. In the churchyard there are ruins of the wall of the ancient castle. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
