The archeological site of Lithovouni is located on the south side of the village of Akres, Aitoloakarnania. These are the ruins of an ancient citadel, which are located on the hill of Prophet Elias and are of particular interest, while traces of box-shaped tombs of the 5th-3rd century BC have been found, among which a Mycenaean has been saved. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Visitable hours: Free Access.
