The Hero stands imposingly in the courtyard of the 5th Primary School of Agrinio. It was built in 1927 under the mayorship of Andreas Panagopoulos and its initial position was at the junction of Papastratou and Mpotsari streets, where today is the bust of Grigoris Lambrakis.
