The Church of Agia Varvara is located on the southeast side of Agrinio. It is a large, impressive church in the style of a basilica with a dome, which has a spacious courtyard with manicured flower beds and benches for the relaxation of the faithful. On either side of the main entrance rise two six-storey bell towers, while the interior of the church is adorned with beautiful paintings and a carved wooden iconostasis. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
