Alexandrou Fleming Square is located at the junction of Papastratou and Louriotou streets, in the center of Agrinio. It is a small, paved square with a triangular shape, which is surrounded by a number of shops. It has a small manicured green space, in which stands the bust of the Nobel Prize winner Alexander Fleming. The construction of the bust of this great biologist took place in 1965, on the initiative of the Medical Association of Agrinio. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
