The artificial lake Stratou is located a few meters outside the homonymous town of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania, which is about 12 km from Agrinio. It was created in 1989 after the construction of the Stratos hydroelectric dam and is the third largest artificial lake on the Acheloos River. It has an excellent natural landscape that combines impressive vegetation with various species of birds, composing a beautiful wetland. This point of interest is Plain and Rural.
