Papastratios Municipal Library is about 1 km from the main square of the city of Agrinio. It was founded in 1961, thanks to the donation of the Papastratos family and has a rich collection, which consists of 40,000 volumes of books. The material of the library is mainly lending and includes an archive of Local Press and Local History. In 1984, with a new donation from the Papastratos family, a modern building with a total area of ​​900 square meters was erected, to which the library that operates to this day was transferred.
