Vonitsa lagoon is located just 200 meters west of the town of the same name. It is shallow and occupies an area of ​​0.5 square kilometers, while it has the lowest salinity compared to the other lagoons of the Amvrakikos gulf. It is of great fish production importance and consists of dense clumps of reeds, in which several species of waterfowl nest. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
