The chapel of Agios Georgios is located at a distance of 2 km from the town of Vonitsa. It is a church of royal style and is about two hundred years old. Every year on the day of the feast of Agios Georgios, known to the locals as Trophy Bearer, a solemn Divine Liturgy is held and the custom that has its roots in 1821 is revived. Cavalry pilgrims from the surrounding area gather in the churchyard and decorated their horses make circles around the Temple, throughout the Liturgy. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban.
