The Church of Agios Ioannis the Theologian is the main church of the village of Monastiraki and dominates directly opposite its central square. It is an imposing stone temple built on the site of an older one and has a spacious paved courtyard surrounded by trees and wooden benches. The upper part of the main entrance is adorned with the icon of Agios Ioannis , while the tall stone bell tower is decorated with a clock on each side. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
