The Panachaikon Wind Park is located on the ridge of the homonymous mountain, in the Prefecture of Achaia. It was inaugurated in 2009 and consists of a total of 57 wind turbines, which makes it the largest wind farm in Greece. Its operation is quite important, as it contributes to meeting the electrical needs of a large number of residents of the city of Patras. It is a popular tourist destination, as it offers a unique view of the Gulf of Patras and the Rio-Antirio Bridge. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
