The Folk Dance Festival takes place every year, on the last weekend of July, in Neos Souli, Patras. It is a four-day festival, which was held for the first time in 1993 on the initiative of the local Cultural Association and continues to be organized successfully to this day. The festival is attended by several dance groups from the Prefecture of Achaia, but also from various parts of Greece, which with the help of traditional music present to the public their dancing skills. Its goal is the preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage, but also its transmission to the younger generations. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
