The Church of Agios Alexios dominates in the homonymous district of Patras. It is a white church, which is internally decorated with a wooden iconostasis and hanging gilded chandeliers. It consists of two bell towers that stand on either side of the main entrance and a fenced paved courtyard with many tall trees, which is flooded with faithful on the days of the Divine Liturgy.
