Kato Kastritsi is a relatively new settlement which was created at the beginning of the 20th century by the inhabitants of Kastritsi. According to sources, in 1928 there was a large movement of residents from Kastritsi and the new settlement was officially recognized in 1940 as Neo Kastritsi. It was renamed Kato Kastritsi in 1951. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
