The Holy Temple of the Ascension is just a few meters from the village of Ano Kastritsi. It is a white rectangular church, which has a tiled roof and a small bell tower that stands next to the main entrance. Externally it consists of a manicured courtyard with many trees, which offers a unique view of the sea that stretches in front of it. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
