Ano Kastritsi is a village located in the Prefecture of Achaia. It is built at the foot of Mount Panachaikon at an altitude of 482 meters, borders the settlements of Magoula, Platani and Argyra, while it is about 15 kilometers northeast of the center of Patras. In the southern part of the village, at the top of a hill, the ruins of a historic castle are preserved, while in the wider area an ancient cemetery has been found. According to the 2011 census, the population is 832 inhabitants. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport.
