The Holy Temple of the Forty Martyrs dominates in the center of the settlement of Ano Kastritsi. It is a large rectangular church, which consists of two bell towers that rise on either side of the main entrance and a manicured courtyard with tall trees and stone fountains. Every year on March 9, the feast day of the Forty Martyrs, a solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the presence of a large crowd. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
