The Holy Temple dedicated to the Prophet Elias dominates at a distance of just a few kilometers from the center of the town Ovrya of the Municipality of Patras. It is a beautiful rectangular church, which consists of a bell tower that stands next to the main entrance and a manicured courtyard with many trees. It is built on a small hill, which offers a unique view of the Gulf of Patras and the green landscape that unfolds in front of it. Every year on July 20, the feast day of the Prophet Elijah, a solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the presence of a large number of believers. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
