Ovrya is a lowland town located in the Peripheral Unit of Achaia, at an altitude of 60 meters. It borders the settlements of Bakari, Demenika and Krini, is about 8 km south of the city center of Patras, while the Patras Perimeter Road passes through its interior. Its name probably comes from the mountainous Vrya, a plant that grows abundantly in the area. According to the 2011 census it consists of 6,308 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
