The old Municipal Market of Argyri is located between Agiou Andreou, Zaimi, Kapsali and Aratou streets, in the center of Patras. This is an old market with a great history, which was built between the years 1881-1883 and is the property of the Municipality of Patras. Until the 1960s, shops operated in the building, while later it was used exclusively by the Municipality, until its abandonment during the Second World War. Today it has been characterized as a listed building, it has been renovated and now operates as a multipurpose space of the Municipality of Patras, where cultural events take place. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
