The Holy Temple dedicated to Agios Christoforos dominates the center of the settlement of Rio in the Municipality of Patras. It is a large imposing church with a dome, which inside has an iconostasis decorated with images of Saints, while outside it consists of two five-storey bell towers that stand on either side of the main entrance. Every year on May 9, the feast day of Agios Christoforos, a solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated with a large number of believers flooding the spacious courtyard of the Holy Temple.
