Voudeni or Skioessa is a mountainous settlement located in the Peripheral Unit of Achaia. It is built at an altitude of 241 meters, borders the area of ​​Kato Sychaina and the village of Balas, while it is about 7.5 kilometers northeast of the center of Patras. At a distance of just a few meters southwest of the settlement, significant findings of a Mycenaean settlement and a cemetery have been identified.
