The old Church of Agios Andreas was built in the years 1836-1843, at the place of martyrdom of the Saint. It is a three-aisled basilica, the work of the architect L. Kavtatzoglou, with rare and impressive hagiographies of the Ionian School, most of which were painted by the great Constantinople hagiographer D. Byzantios. In the front right part of the church, near the Holy Step, is the marble tomb of the Saint. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
