Piraeus Patraiki was founded in 1919 by Christoforos Katsambas and Stamoulis Stratos and was the largest textile, cotton and ready-made garments industry in Greece. It is the first company to import diesel machinery from Germany. It operated until 1996, while it is worth mentioning the fact that during the Second World War it supplied the Greek Army with blankets and fabrics. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
