The Ladopoulos Paper Factory was founded in 1928 and operated until 1991, when it went bankrupt. The first machines were transported from Germany by sea in 1929, but the ship sank near the port and for this reason the factory was fully operational in 1931. It was for more than 60 years one of the largest paper mills in Greece. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
