The Old Municipal Slaughterhouses were built in 1903 by the architect Georgios Lykoudis, as the need arose to move the former slaughterhouses from the pier of Agios Andreos. These are impressive buildings, the structure of which is a typical example of the influence of Central European industrial architecture. Their operation lasted until 1995. After that, renovation works were carried out and now they are a multi-purpose event and recreation area. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
