The Old Hospice of Patras was housed in an old mansion built in 1906 in an area of ​​approximately 15000 sq.m. by the architect-engineer of the Municipality, George Lykoudis. The expense was borne by the affluent classes of the city in order to meet the needs of the helpless and poor elderly in the area. The orphanage operated until 1989, when it was transferred to the Konstantopoulio Evgerio, in the area of ​​the Holy Monastery of the Nursing Home. In 2006, renovation works were carried out on the buildings and now it functions as a multipurpose space for cultural events and leisure. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban.
