The Hamam of Patras was built during the Venetian occupation in 1400 and since then it has been operating continuously. It is the oldest hamam in operation in Greece and is located in the Upper Town of Patras, on Boukaouri Street. The entrance to each space is through arched openings while at the back are located the tank and the hearth area. It is worth mentioning the fact that the hammam has been operating in almost the same way for so many centuries. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has a fee or ticket. Visitable hours: MON-WED-FRI: 10:00 -21:00 and TUE-THU-SAT: 10:00 - 21:30.
