The Holy Monastery of Agios Dimitrios is located on the south side of the village of Kryoneria, in the place Selperi. This is a Monastery that was built in 1805 and contributed to the preparation of the Revolution of Kravara in 1821. Today the katholikon, the metochi of Ai Elias and the pillar exercised by Damianos, and the first abbot of the monastery are preserved. Every year, the Association of Kryonerites O Agios Georgios organizes in the Monastery the meeting of the Kryonerites, an event that aims to highlight its importance. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
