The Mountain Nafpaktia Cycling Races take place every year, on the last weekend of August, in the village of Ano Chora of Mountain Nafpaktia. This is an event organized by the Environmental Organization Green + Blue, in collaboration with the Municipality of Nafpaktia and the Region of Western Greece, with the approval of the Hellenic Cycling Federation. The participants, who exceed 250 each year, are invited to take a beautiful route, in a forest of fir and chestnut trees, rivers and waterfalls, at an altitude of 1,100 meters. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: Summer. It is accessible through public transport.
