The Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi, dates from 1880 and is located in the small mountain village of Kato Platanos. The construction of the church was carried out with the help of doctor G. Kyriazis, in whose honor his bust was placed in the courtyard of the church. The church celebrates every year on July 26 on the day of the feast of Agia Paraskevi.
