The Holy Church dedicated to Agios Nikolaos is located in the square of the mountain village of Platanos. The church was built between 1846-1869, from donations, such as the great benefactor of the village Nikolaos Marathea, but also with the contribution of the inhabitants. It is an imposing temple of rare structural art, basilica style at the entrance of which dominate two beautiful bell towers. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
