The Katafygio is a mountain village located in the Peripheral Unit of Aitoloakarnania. It is amphitheatrically built at the eastern foot of Makrinoros at an altitude of 620 meters, borders the village of Anavryti and is about 33 km from Nafpaktos. The original name of the settlement was Amorani and according to the 2011 census it consists of 276 permanent residents. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
