Platanos is a traditional mountain village of Nafpaktia. It is built at an altitude of 875 meters and is located at a distance of about 47 kilometers from the city of Nafpaktos. The historic settlement, which in the past was the seat of the Municipality of Platanos, took its name from a huge plane tree that existed in the area. In 2011 it had 207 inhabitants. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
