The port of Nafpaktos is located in the center of the homonymous seaside town of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania. It is a small picturesque harbor with two castle towers on either side of its entrance. It was built by the Venetians and was an important transportation and commercial center, which contributed to the prosperity of the region.
